This post is going to be friggin random, I've seen some stuff during holidays and would like to rant about them, bear with it.
I wonder sometimes... Do the people we meet come and go? To be honest, the 4-6 dinner was pretty fun, prolly cuz after being alone at home for 3 solid months, chatting with old friends feels good.
But disgustingly, only 15-17 people turn up out of 37 people. Many simply just told Javier they didn't wanna go, i found that many many of my classmates are so caught up with their new JC pals almost to a point like seeing a kid dumping his old toys aside and start playing with the new one.
What's up with everyone? What's so hot about their new, shiny brand-new friends? Honestly, i, myself am totally NOT excited about meeting new friggin people in Singapore poly, lucky for me, Zhitian from 4-1 happen to be in the same course as me.
Reading marcus yip's blog, the dude is the complete opposite of the people i mention, that guy is totally suicidal and is totally upset about not having any true friends, that guy is right about one thing. He said: "What's the need of a friend who can only use words to comfort you?" Then on his tag, some stupid girl wrote: "What's up with you? Don't be so sad, Link me k?"....... The irony and stupidity of this world is overwhelming.
Speaking of sadness, teens these days have alot of emotional crap, feeling moody, crushed, irritated, depressed and other rubbish, maybe i'm still immature, cuz i don't feel any of it. But one should know that all this emotional rollercoasters stuff are what create problem teens.
Problem teens... I have seen far too many of those... in my church, that is. 90% of the church-going teens i know go to church because they have family problems (and after tactful coaxing by their church-going friends). And its not like they really improved that much after attending mass or something, in fact, they hook up with some cute girls beside them during mass and its back to square one for their friggin' problems. That's for my church though, don't know about the rest. Ya want me to name an example? Melvin koh, hey, dude, i still hate you, you suck, heard you got kicked out of CJ? Congrats! I once knew a guy in my church class (not talking about melvin), he was this good-boy image in church but was skate-boarding and smoking his ass off after he got out of church, oh well...
Going back to the 4-6 dinner, Javier, you are a nice guy, but you have to face reality, in 2 months time, ALL contact within 4-6 will be cut off, no more sms, no more calls, its carrying on with lives, I would really respect the guy who will try to keep the relationship among 4-6 together, but even he might give up, Javier complained that practically everyone ignored his sms for the dinner. What the hack is going on? Are they really THAT busy? To ignore an invitation at around 6 in the evening? Reflect on what you have done, losers.
Those who turned up had an argument with Javier over a friggin $3 dollars difference in the dinner, man, i swear i could see javier looking like crap, i mean he must have felt really really sad that everyone was unhappy with his self-motivated dinner invitation. I feel sad for that guy. You did well, Jav, its the friggin' class fault.
As time goes by, people would walk their own paths, but the reason why i react so strongly is cuz i didn't expect all classmates to "defect" THAT fast.
Reflect and Learn.
